The United States has announced the allocation of more than $200 million for humanitarian aid and disaster relief for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

According to the information, this amount includes approximately $133 million as a contribution to the ICRC’s 2026 Global Appeal campaign and $70 million for the IFRC.
It was noted that these funds are aimed at supporting organizations with the capacity to respond promptly to emergencies, ensure access for those in need in armed conflict settings, and utilize existing global humanitarian response infrastructure.
