Representatives of the Media Development Agency, the Audiovisual Council, and the Press Council visited the Alley of Honor on the occasion of July 22 – National Press Day, and paid tribute to the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev with deep respect.

A wreath was laid in front of the Great Leader’s monument, and bouquets of flowers were placed. The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated with respect, and fresh flowers were placed on her grave.
At the same time, the grave of Hasan bey Zardabi, the founder of the Azerbaijani national press, publisher and editor-in-chief of the “Ekinchi” newspaper, a prominent public figure and enlightened intellectual, was visited. As a sign of respect for his spirit, a wreath and fresh flowers were placed in front of his grave, and the dear memory of the great thinker was honored.
