A forest fire that has been ongoing since July 16 in the north of Madrid (Spain) has destroyed nearly 30,000 hectares of land.

“Elchi” reports that this was stated by “El Pais”.

Due to the fire, it was necessary to evacuate 34 residential areas. Movement has been restricted in 14 other residential areas for safety purposes. In total, these measures have affected more than 1,200 people.

It is noted that in some cases, the evacuation is due to poor air quality caused by smoke rather than the immediate threat of fire.
