Trump: The Ukraine crisis will be included in the talks between Russia, China, and the US.
elchi reports, citing the White House press corps, that US President Donald Trump has stated that the issue of resolving the conflict in Ukraine will be discussed in potential trilateral talks between Russia, the US, and China.
At “Joint Base Andrews” near Washington, journalists asked the US leader whether the Ukraine issue would be included in the discussions.
In response, Trump said: “I can’t say for sure, because it’s not just about that. Denuclearization will also be discussed. That is, the issue is not limited to this.”
The day before, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov revealed details of a meeting between Vladimir Putin and US President’s Special Representative Stiven Vitkoff in St. Petersburg. According to Ushakov, Moscow is ready to resume trilateral talks with Washington and Kyiv on resolving the Ukraine crisis as early as November this year.
Ushakov noted that the conflict is already moving towards its final stage. In addition, the parties discussed the “diesel deal,” a possible meeting between the leaders of Russia, the US, and China, as well as the issue of returning the American mercenary fighter Steven Hubbard to his homeland.
