A new project has been launched in Baku to increase the efficiency of emergency medical services. Within the framework of the project, motorcycles will be used in emergency medical services.
“Elchi” reports, citing teleqraf, that this model, which is applied in a number of countries around the world, will allow emergency medical brigades in the capital to reach the scene in a shorter time.
According to the new system, a medical worker traveling by motorcycle will reach the scene faster than a traditional ambulance, provide initial medical aid to the patient, and carry out interventions to stabilize the condition when necessary. This will serve to minimize time loss, especially in life-threatening situations.
In the context of increasing traffic congestion in Baku in recent years, it is expected that the emergency medical service by motorcycle will operate more efficiently. This is because motorcycles can navigate through heavy city traffic more flexibly and reach the scene in a short time.
According to the information, the motorcycles to be involved in the service will be equipped with an automated external defibrillator, an oxygen cylinder, a trauma bag, resuscitation equipment, and necessary medicines for emergency medical care.
