elchi reports that this statement was issued by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in response to reports circulating in Ukrainian media that Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky would be dismissed from his post today.
“General Syrsky continues to exercise his powers as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The information circulating regarding his dismissal is not true,” the statement says.
