The new Prime Minister of Great Britain, Andy Burnham, has committed to achieving stability for the country.
elchi reports that Burnham stated this in his first address to the nation without a written speech.
“Great Britain must show the whole world that it is capable of regaining stability. Our task is precisely this—to ensure that politics works and works better. I know that the people of our country are tired of politics. I hear you and I want to be honest with you: we were not good enough. We must be better,” Burnham declared.
He promised to create a “new political and economic model” that is truly focused on solving problems and is more decentralized, and also announced that he would later present a 10-year reform plan. Burnham promised to provide details on how the changes will be funded in the very near future.
