The names of two municipalities in Quba and the settlements they cover have been changed.
elchi reports that this is reflected in the law on amendments to the “List of municipalities in the Republic of Azerbaijan” to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the territories and lands of municipalities”.
According to the law, the Timiryazev-Alekseyevka municipality will be named Bəhrəli-Çınarlı, and the Vladimirovka municipality will be named Elbir municipality.
According to the document, the territorial units with the same name covered by the mentioned municipalities are also replaced with new names, respectively. Thus, the Bəhrəli-Çinarlı municipality will cover the villages of Bəhrəli, Çinarlı, İqrığ, Qacar Zeyid and Zizik, and the Elbir municipality will cover the villages of Ağbil, Aşağı Atuc, Dəlləkli, Elbir, Əlibəyqışlaq, Mirzəməmmədkənd and Susayqışlaq.
