A planning conference for the “Strength of Unity – 2026” joint military exercise, scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan, has taken place.
According to information provided to “Elchi” by the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense, delegations from Turkey, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan, alongside Azerbaijan, participated in the conference held at the Jamshid Nakhchivanski Military Lyceum under the National Defense University.
Welcoming the guests, Lieutenant General Azer Aliyev noted that military cooperation between our countries is developing successfully.
It was stated that the main purpose of the “Strength of Unity – 2026” joint military exercise is to expand cooperation between the armies of our countries, improve the practical skills of personnel, exchange mutual experience, and contribute to sustainable peace and security.
Participants of the event were provided with detailed information about the exercise’s objectives, scenario, and the combat episodes to be executed.
Within the framework of the conference, the guests became familiar with the area where the exercise will be held and clarified the tasks.
In the end, the participating countries signed a protocol on the results of the conference and exchanged detailed views on other issues of mutual interest.
