A new personnel appointment has been made at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
elchi reports that Azer Novruzov has been appointed as the Director of the Strategic and Operational Risk Management Department of the Central Bank. He began his duties in July.
It should be noted that Azer Novruzov had been working as a Chief Specialist in Strategic and Operational Risks at the Central Bank since March 2024. Prior to that, he worked as a team leader at ABB from October 2022 to March 2024, and as a chief specialist at the International Bank of Azerbaijan from 2017 to 2022.
Azer Novruzov has over 12 years of work experience in the banking sector in total.
