A series of events have been held by the relevant agencies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to raise public awareness about behavioral rules in emergency situations.
“Elchi” reports that with the participation of specialists from the State Fire Control Service, the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue of the MES, the Baku Regional Center (RC) held events at the “AzerSuTikinti” hospital in Nizami district, kindergarten No. 300 in Garadagh district, city polyclinic No. 42 in Surakhani district, city polyclinic No. 3 and the “National Center of Oncology” in Yasamal district; the Sumgayit RC held events at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Sumgayit city and kindergarten No. 14 in Saray settlement of Absheron district; the Ganja RC held events at the Govlar City Family Health Center in Tovuz district and the Bozalganli village medical station in Tovuz district; the North-West RC held an event at the “AFRA” hotel in Oguz district; the Aran RC held events at the representative office of the Head of Agdash District Executive Authority for Dehnalil village administrative territorial district and kindergarten No. 7 in Goychay city; the Mugan RC held an event at the Sturgeon Breeding Farm of “Azerbaijan Fish Farm” LLC in Neftchala district; the Karabakh RC held an event at kindergarten No. 2 in Tartar city; the South RC held events at the “N” military unit of the Internal Troops and the representative office of the Head of Lankaran City Executive Authority for Narimanabad settlement administrative territorial district; and the North RC held an event at the representative office of the Head of Guba District Executive Authority for II Nugadi village administrative territorial district.
The purpose of the events was to provide citizens with the necessary knowledge regarding behavioral rules in the event of potential natural and man-made emergencies.
During the events, detailed information was provided on the classification of emergency situations, emergencies characteristic of our country, including necessary behavioral rules related to fires and earthquakes; the purpose of the MES “112” hotline was explained, and the use of primary fire extinguishing equipment was demonstrated in practice.
