Iran has responded to the call by the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, regarding the inspection of the country’s nuclear facilities and has drawn attention to the possibility of the process under certain conditions.
“Elchi” reports, citing ISNA, that this was stated by Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).
“The Director General of the Agency (IAEA head Rafael Grossi) must demand that the US and Israel stop attacking and threatening Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities so that the necessary ground for the implementation of IAEA safeguards can be created,” he recalled.
Previously, Grossi stated that providing access to key nuclear facilities in Iran would lead to positive results for Tehran.
It should be recalled that the September meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors is being held, and Azerbaijan has also issued a statement.
