Former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has been detained at an airport in Portugal.
“Elchi” reports, citing “CM Jornal”.
The 95-year-old British businessman arrived at the airport on his private jet. During a security check, police officers discovered a hunting rifle in his luggage. Following this, Ecclestone was detained.
It is currently unknown whether he will appear in court or if charges will be filed against him without arrest.
It should be noted that Bernie Ecclestone led Formula 1 from 1974 to 2017.
