All beaches in the city of Sharjah have been temporarily closed due to an oil spill in the Persian Gulf.

“Sharjah beaches have been temporarily closed as a precautionary measure to prevent oil pollution of the marine environment,” the release published on the social network “X” states.
It is noted that the authorities are “taking necessary measures to ensure the safety of beach areas and prevent pollution from reaching their territory.”
