A new electronic system is being created in the field of real estate in Azerbaijan.
elchi reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree in this regard.
According to the decree, the “Electronic Register and Cadastre of Real Estate” information system (DERKİS) is being created. According to the new Regulation, the owner of the system is the State Service of Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, and the operator is the public legal entity “State Cadastre and Register of Real Estate”.
The main goal in the formation of the system is the digitalization of services related to the registration of rights to real estate, increasing transparency and efficiency in state management in the field, as well as improving the business environment. The information system is being built on the principle of “Mobile Priority Development” based on citizen-oriented and business-oriented solutions.
Structurally, DERKİS will consist of 6 different subsystems. To benefit from the services in this system, citizens will be able to access their personal electronic cabinets through the “Unified Login” subsystem in the Electronic Government Information System. There, applications will be formed and confirmed with a reinforced electronic signature with a comprehensive certificate.
In order to ensure the security, stability, and uninterrupted operation of the system and the data collected therein, DERKİS, including all its backups, will be stored in the “Government Cloud” (G-cloud).
