Nizami nights are being continued in a series within the framework of the ‘Maarif Cığırı-Nizami 885’ project, which won the grant competition announced by the Azerbaijan National Agency for Public Funding of NGOs for the ‘Chagyr’ Public Union.
Participants gather at the Union’s office every Thursday at 20:00 to witness the brilliance of the great poet’s pen.
The legacy of Nizami is brought to new thoughts through literal translations from Persian with the trainer – Yegana Mirzayeva, leading researcher of the Center for Islamic Studies of Baku State University, Ph.D. in Philology.
Each meeting is uniquely focused on the analysis of the great poet’s works.
We would like to note that Nizami nights will be held in a series to ensure their sustainability even after the project is completed.
