Due to the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round home match between Qarabag Football Club and Vestri (Iceland), which will take place on July 9 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium, the operating schedule of the Baku Metro will be adjusted.

It was stated that, in accordance with the Baku Metro CJSC’s operational plan for mass events, the nearby Ganjlik station will operate in an enhanced mode on the day of the match. Taking into account the interest in the game, as well as the safe and comfortable transportation of passengers, the station will be equipped with additional control mechanisms. For this purpose, a duty schedule has been prepared, and auxiliary staff will be deployed. The main focus will be on ensuring that passengers, especially after the match, can easily determine their direction of movement at the station; precautionary measures will also be taken at the Narimanov and 28 May stations.
Trains will operate throughout the day based on the summer weekday schedule. If necessary, reserve trains will be dispatched to the line. After the match concludes, train movements will be regulated in a special manner, taking into account the operating mode of the Ganjlik station.
