A solemn ceremony dedicated to the next graduation of students was held at the Heydar Aliyev Academy of the State Security Service (SSS).
According to the information provided by the SSS to “Elchi”, the event was attended by the Head of the SSS, Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev, senior staff of the service, veterans of security agencies, the Academy’s teaching staff, graduates, and their parents.
First, flowers were laid at the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the honorary head of Azerbaijan’s security agencies who dedicated 25 years of his life to special services, located on the Academy’s grounds. The dear memory of the great personality and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with deep respect, and the National Anthem was played.
After the diplomas were presented to the graduates, Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev congratulated the young officers, noting that the Academy has traveled a long path of development and that comprehensive conditions have been created there for the training of highly qualified personnel. Emphasizing the importance of cadets deeply mastering the secrets of their chosen profession, the Head of the Service noted that thanks to the leadership and direct support of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, special service agencies that meet modern challenges have been formed in our country.
Highlighting that stability is reliably maintained in our country against the backdrop of complex geopolitical processes taking place in the world, the SSS Chief announced that all forces and means will continue to be mobilized in the direction of ensuring national security. Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev expressed his confidence that as graduates of the Academy bearing the name of the National Leader, the young officers will worthily carry on the patriotic legacy of the unforgettable personality in their future activities.
