The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information that 2 people were drowning in an uncontrolled sea area, 900 meters away from the nearest rescue station in Jorat settlement, Sumgayit city.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated in the information of the MES Press Service.
In connection with the information, divers of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue of the MES were immediately involved in the call.
As a result of the operative rescue operation carried out by diver-rescuers, Yariyev Murad Azad oglu, born in 2004, was rescued, and the body of 1 person (female) was found in the water, recovered, and handed over to the relevant authorities.
