The farewell ceremony for the former Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, has begun in Tehran.
–“Elchi” reports that a large farewell ceremony will be held in several cities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The ceremony will continue until July 9. Khamenei will be buried in Mashhad on July 9.
Representatives from approximately 100 countries are expected to attend the memorial event.
An official delegation from Azerbaijan will also participate in the ceremony.
