A graduation ceremony has been held for the graduates of the Baku Military College, operating under the National Defense University (NDU), and the Military Medical Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical University, majoring in “Military Paramedic Work”.

First, the monument to the National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, erected on the territory of the military institute, as well as the Memorial Complex of the institute’s military personnel who became martyrs in the Patriotic War, were visited, flowers were laid in front of them, and their memory was commemorated with deep respect.
During the event, attended by the leadership of the NDU, officers, teachers, cadets, and other guests, the Battle Flag of the Baku Military College was brought to the parade ground.
Then, the memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and those who became martyrs for the Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Speaking at the event, NDU Rector Major General Gunduz Abdulov congratulated the graduates on behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense. Noting that the Azerbaijan Army is the most powerful and modern army in the region, the rector stated that preserving and developing this strength and power is a priority issue of army building.
Major General G. Abdulov emphasized that the victory won in the Patriotic War depended on the agility of small units capable of operating independently and the professionalism of the command staff.
For this reason, it was especially noted that the establishment of military colleges in Baku, Ganja, and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated December 14, 2023, is a strategically important step of historical significance serving great goals.
Speaking on behalf of the graduates, the top students of the course expressed their gratitude to the country, the Ministry of Defense, and the NDU leadership, as well as the teaching staff, for the conditions created during their education.
In accordance with the graduation ceremony program, diplomas, certificates, and honorary decrees were presented to the graduates and the teaching staff who achieved high results in their pedagogical activities.
Commemorative plaques were placed on symbolic logs by graduates who distinguished themselves in education and discipline, and a ceremony for the handover and acceptance of the Battle Flag of the Baku Military College was held.
Later, accompanied by a military orchestra, the cadets performed the march of the military college.
In the end, there was a solemn march of the personnel in front of the podium.
