The Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) has commented on the absence of cash registers and payment POS-terminals at the Yevlakh Regional Hospital, which is under the authority of the Center for Lung Diseases.
The agency stated that the hospital was opened on February 13 following reconstruction works.
It was noted that the handover of the facility’s assets between the Center for Lung Diseases and the Yevlakh District Central Hospital has been carried out.
To transfer the property to the balance sheet of the Center, an application was submitted to the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, specifically to the State Cadastre and Registry of Real Estate, and the relevant work has commenced.
According to the information, services are currently being provided to citizens on the condition that relevant state payments are made for medical services not included in the Mandatory Health Insurance Service Package. In order to increase service quality, citizen satisfaction, and ensure accessibility, requirements have been set for the provision of fiscal cash registers, bank-owned payment POS-terminals, and payment cash registers, which include having specific payment limits and obtaining an object registration code from state tax authorities. Official negotiations with the relevant state bodies in this direction are ongoing.
Once the process is finalized, Yevlakh Regional Hospital will be equipped with the necessary fiscal cash registers and payment POS-terminals in accordance with the regulations.
It should be recalled that claims regarding the absence of cash registers and payment POS-terminals at the aforementioned hospital had circulated on social media.
