Artificial intelligence is no longer the future, it is the main development factor of today.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, at the first meeting of the Digital Development Council.
“At the same time, the role of artificial intelligence in ensuring the security of states is increasing and already occupies a central place,” she said, adding that the development of artificial intelligence in the world’s leading states is proceeding faster than expected, which in turn creates both new opportunities and new threats.
According to the First Vice-President, Azerbaijan must be prepared for new challenges, especially the risks existing and emerging in the field of cybersecurity and information security:
“Our activities require the joint, active, and efficient work of all state institutions. Our goal is to turn Azerbaijan into one of the leading states in the region in the fields of digital development and artificial intelligence. We must study foreign and international experience and use successful models. However, all decisions must be made based on factors that meet Azerbaijan’s national interests and needs.”
