Operational measures are being continued by the employees of the Main Department for Combating Narcotics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to prevent the illegal circulation and sale of narcotic substances.
According to the information provided to elchi by the MIA, during the latest operation carried out in the capital and the regions, 37-year-old Muzadil Mammadov, 35-year-old Kamran Mammadov, 40-year-old Khanim Gardashova, 43-year-old Rovshan Nasirov, 42-year-old Farid Nazarov, 26-year-old Orkhan Abbasov, 27-year-old Eyyub Mammadov, 43-year-old Abdulla Mammadov, and 36-year-old Museyib Hasanov were detained.
From these individuals, 46 kilograms of marijuana mixed with harmful substances, heroin, opium, hashish, as well as cocaine, a high-potency narcotic substance, 2087 psychotropic methadone pills, ecstasy pills, electronic scales, and 55,270 manats in cash obtained from the sale of narcotics were discovered.
Investigations have determined that these individuals organized the illegal circulation of narcotic substances in the country based on the instructions of foreign drug traffickers.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding the facts. By the court’s decision, a preventive measure of arrest has been chosen for the detained persons.
