Individuals and legal entities of foreign countries can use fish and other aquatic bioresources in the water basins of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
elchi reports that this is reflected in the new draft law “On Fisheries”, which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Agrarian Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, individuals and legal entities of foreign countries use fish and other aquatic bioresources in the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the procedure provided for in the normative legal acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in accordance with international treaties to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party, as well as other norms of international law. The fee and procedure for the use of fish and other aquatic bioresources by individuals and legal entities of foreign countries in the Republic of Azerbaijan are determined by the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority.
