Serbia welcomes political decisions that lead to the cessation of armed conflicts, de-escalation, dialogue, and lasting peace, as well as the continuation of discussions and cooperation.
elchi reports that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said this during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian.
“I had a good and open discussion with President Pezeshkian, during which I stated that Serbia welcomes brave political decisions that lead to the cessation of armed conflicts, de-escalation, dialogue, and lasting peace, as well as the continuation of discussions and cooperation,” Vučić said.
He noted the political and social importance of the reconstruction of affected areas and economic development: “Serbia will continue to support any responsible effort towards a fairer, safer, and more peaceful world, believing that sustainable solutions are built through dialogue, mutual respect, and compromise.”
Pezeshkian stated that Israel’s policy is the cause of instability in the region. “The US and Israel have not achieved their goals with the attack on Iran,” he said, recalling the death of 168 innocent children as a result of the attack on a girls’ school in Minab.
