US President Donald Trump will use the full extent of American armed forces if Tehran does not agree to sign a deal with Washington within a reasonable timeframe.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the US Permanent Representative to NATO, Matthew Whitaker.
“If Iran does not want to conclude a deal within a reasonable time, then he [Trump] will deploy all of his incredible Armed Forces to achieve a situation where Iran will sign a deal,” the US Permanent Representative said in an interview with Fox Business. However, he did not specify any concrete timeframe for the conclusion of a deal between Washington and Tehran.
According to Whitaker’s claim, the American leader “holds all the cards” on the Iran issue and “will continue to use them at his discretion.”
