Member of Parliament Azer Badamov: “Today, the 30th anniversary of the “Suvar” Ensemble, which has a unique place in Azerbaijan’s rich cultural palette, is being celebrated in the magnificent Palace named after National Leader Heydar Aliyev. This jubilee is not only a creative celebration of a collective but also a triumph of our country’s multicultural values, friendship, and solidarity among our peoples. Over 30 years, the “Suvar” Ensemble has preserved and passed on the rich folklore, music, and dance culture of the Lezgin people to future generations, while simultaneously presenting this heritage as an integral part of Azerbaijani culture. Historically, Azerbaijan has been a place where different peoples, languages, and cultures have lived in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. Today, the activities of the “Suvar” Ensemble once again demonstrate that our cultural diversity is one of our greatest assets. The preservation and development of Lezgin culture also serve to enrich the overall Azerbaijani culture. In every performance of the ensemble, we see not only beautiful music and dances but also the spirit of unity, mutual respect, and national solidarity of our people. It is precisely these values that ensure the strength and resilience of Azerbaijani society. On the occasion of this landmark jubilee, I heartily congratulate the management, artists, and everyone who contributed to the success of the “Suvar” Ensemble, and I wish them new creative achievements, robust health, and great success. May the artistic path of the “Suvar” Ensemble continue to serve the further strengthening of friendship, cultural solidarity, and mutual respect among peoples in our country. Happy 30th anniversary!”
Founder of the “Suvar” Ensemble, Sadaqat Karimova: “Suvar is like a child to me; I have always treated them like a mother. Suvar went through very difficult paths, but still managed to maintain its stature and activities. The current head of the “Suvar” ensemble, Zavir Najafov, has always supported me, stood by the collective in good and bad times, and supported our students. After a while, I handed the ensemble over to him. It is fortunate that he managed to become a wonderful leader. He does everything he can for the development of the ensemble. I have always been proud of them.”
“Suvar” Ensemble soloist Elvina Heydarova: “The “Suvar” Ensemble is not just a collective for me; it is an inseparable part of my life and creative path. I have gained many beautiful memories during the years I spent in this ensemble. The stages we shared together, the excitement we experienced, and the moments full of joy are very valuable to me. “Suvar” has given me not only an artistic path but also dear people, sincere relationships, and a big family. Being a soloist of this collective has always been a source of pride for me. Today, I especially want to express my deep gratitude to the founder of the ensemble, Sadaqat Karimova. Thanks to her hard work, foresight, and love for our national culture, the “Suvar” Ensemble was created and continues its journey with great success to this day. The path and values she set are always an example for us. At the same time, I express my gratitude to the head of the ensemble, Zavir Najafov, who put great effort into organizing this magnificent jubilee concert. Thanks to his work, care, and love for the collective, this beautiful evening came to fruition. Thanks to such people, “Suvar” lives, develops, and achieves new successes. I heartily congratulate our entire collective on the 30th anniversary of the “Suvar” Ensemble, and I wish every member health, new creative successes, and abundant applause.”
Colonel Rashad Aslanov: “I also wish success to the “Suvar” Ensemble in my turn. The fact that they successfully represent our people and our country in various countries of the world creates a great sense of success and pride for us. May the continuation of this long and successful path they have traveled be even brighter. Today, for many years, this ensemble has been making a sound with its voice. I congratulate the entire collective, the creative team, and our people, especially Sadaqat Karimova and Zavir Najafov. May success always be with you.” The concert was remembered for its enthusiastic atmosphere with various dance numbers and stage performances. At the end of the event, the head of the ensemble, Zavir Najafov, was awarded a medal on behalf of the Dagestan Choreographers Society by Ali Magomedovich, a People’s Artist of Dagestan, a veteran of the “Lezginka” ensemble, and the artistic director of the “Vatan” ensemble. Finally, Zavir Najafov shared his wishes: “It is our mission to worthily represent our country in various countries of the world. It is good that we have managed to do this, and we will do our best to develop even further.” Finally, we also congratulate the “Suvar” ensemble and wish them great achievements in their activities.
