As of March 31, 2025, the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) has transferred a total of 173,622.9 million manats to the state budget.
This was reported by “Elchi”, citing the State Oil Fund.
It should be noted that in January-March of this year, within the framework of the execution of the 2026 budget of SOFAZ, 3,210 million manats were transferred to the state budget.
It should be added that SOFAZ assets amounted to 73,541.5 million US dollars (125,020.5 million manats) at the beginning of 2026, and 73,515.9 million US dollars (124,976.9 million manats) as of March 31, 2026.
Recall that SOFAZ was established on December 29, 1999. The Fund is a special institution that ensures the collection, efficient management, and preservation of oil and gas revenues for future generations. SOFAZ is an extra-budgetary, separate state institution. Transparency is one of the main principles of SOFAZ’s activities. During this period, SOFAZ has developed at a high institutional level and has become an international-level financial organization.
