194 children have died due to the measles epidemic that began in Bangladesh last month.

According to preliminary data, the number of measles cases among children has exceeded 28,000.
It is noted that 3-5 children have died every day over the past week. Five deaths were recorded on Wednesday, and another five on Thursday.
Authorities stated that a large-scale vaccination campaign has been underway since the epidemic began on March 15. This is the largest campaign in recent decades.
According to health system representative Zahid Rayhan, a total of 18 million children are planned to be vaccinated.
