In the first quarter of this year, 11% of the annual allocated funds, or 386.2 million manats, were utilized for the reconstruction and restoration of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories (Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions) based on cash order documents submitted by client organizations for relevant projects.
“Elchi” reports that the Ministry of Finance has released information regarding this.
According to the report, 355.2 million manats of these funds were directed toward infrastructure projects (185 million manats for the design, construction, and reconstruction of highway infrastructure; 142.2 million manats for the design and construction of new residential complexes; and 28 million manats for the creation of tourism infrastructure and other measures), 10.7 million manats for financing social projects related to healthcare and culture, and 20.3 million manats for expenses related to demining the territories.
