Today, at approximately 12:10, a short circuit in the intermediate cable between the “Ulduz” and “Narimanov” stations of the Baku Metro caused an interruption in the power supply to the contact network.
“Elchi” reports that Bakhtiyar Mammadov, head of the public relations department of “Baku Metro” CJSC, stated this to journalists.
He noted that, simply put, since electricity is the main force ensuring the movement of Baku Metro trains, the supply of high-voltage electricity was cut off, which made it impossible for trains to operate on the “Ulduz–Narimanov” section.
