Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf said: “We do not accept negotiations under the shadow of threats and we are preparing to play new cards on the field over the next two weeks”.
When does the US-Iran ceasefire end?
According to Reuters, citing a Pakistani source involved in the negotiations, the ceasefire will officially end on Wednesday, April 22, at 8:00 PM US Eastern Time (03:00 Thursday Turkey time).
This period corresponds to 03:30 local time on Thursday morning in Iran.
Trump: “The probability of an extension is low”
In his latest statement to Bloomberg News, President Trump said he expects the ceasefire to end on Tuesday, Washington time.
Calling the possibility of extending the ceasefire “extremely low” if a new agreement cannot be reached between the parties, Trump described the possibility of an extension as “extremely low”.
