Registration is announced for applicants who wish to participate in the 1st attempt of the 2nd stage of the entrance exam to higher education institutions.

Stages of application submission
It was stated that the submission of applications for student admission to higher education institutions is carried out in two stages via the internet. The first stage of application submission was carried out from February 18 to March 5, 2026. During that stage, those who wanted to be admitted to higher education institutions (including those in the V specialty group) and colleges based on full (11-year) secondary education registered.
Registration for the 1st attempt of the second stage
Applicants who wish to participate in the 1st attempt of the 2nd stage of the entrance exam for the I, II, III, and IV specialty groups must log in to the relevant SEC website (https://eservices.dim.gov.az/erizebak/cehd1/) using their personal cabinet username and password from April 16 to April 29, 2026, at 23:59, select the specialty group they wish to take the exam in, and complete the registration.
Additional opportunity for current year graduates
Considering the requests of current year graduates who took the graduation exam in the language of instruction, mathematics, and foreign language this year but did not participate in the application submission held from February 18 to March 5, an opportunity has been created for them to register to participate in the second stage of the entrance exam for the I, II, III, and IV specialty groups.

Information about paid services
According to clause 1.2 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 2694 dated February 24, 2017, “On additional measures regarding the regulation of the organization of student admission exams to higher and secondary specialized education institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the participation of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (only those graduating from general education institutions) in the entrance exam (only in one attempt of the second stage of the exam) for the first time is covered by the state budget.
Preferential categories
According to clauses 1.3-1.7 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 2694 dated February 24, 2017, “On additional measures regarding the regulation of the organization of student admission exams to higher and secondary specialized education institutions in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the participation of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (only those graduating from general education institutions) from the following categories in the entrance exam (for all stages and attempts) is carried out at the expense of the state budget:
– Children of persons who have been determined to have a disability in connection with the protection of the territorial integrity, independence, and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
– Members of martyr families;
– Children who have lost their parents and are deprived of parental care;
– Persons with the status of internally displaced persons;
– Persons determined to have a disability of the I and II degree, including children under 18 with limited health capabilities.
Payment procedure for other applicants
Other applicants add the required amount to their personal cabinet accounts to confirm (have confirmed) the application, and that amount is deducted from their personal cabinet accounts after the application is confirmed.
Note regarding colleges
It was noted that applicants who met the competition conditions for admission to secondary specialized education institutions based on full (11-year) secondary education, but did not select the item “I want to participate in the competition of secondary specialized education institutions based on full secondary education” during the application submission held from February 18 to March 5, will be allowed to participate in the college specialty selection in the summer.
Exam dates
It was stated that the first attempt of the second stage of the entrance exam to higher education institutions will be held on May 24 for the II and III specialty groups, and on June 7 for the I and IV groups. For applicants who choose both the DT and TC subgroups for the III specialty group, the additional exam in geography will be held on June 7.
Selection opportunity regarding subgroups
It was noted in the information that applicants who wish to take the exam for both the RI and RK subgroups in the I specialty group can choose one subgroup in the first attempt of the second stage and the other in the second attempt. Depending on their wishes, applicants can also participate in the same subgroup in both attempts.
