Azerbaijan Air Force successfully completes the next stage of the “Anatolian Phoenix – 2026” exercise – VIDEO

The tasks of the next stage of the “Anatolian Phoenix – 2026” international search and rescue exercise held in Konya, Turkey, have been successfully fulfilled.

This was reported to elchi by the Ministry of Defense.

During the exercise, tactical tasks were performed using SU-25 and F-16 aircraft, as well as T-70 helicopters, to achieve air superiority and provide air support for the purpose of searching for and rescuing the crew members of an aircraft that crashed in the territory of a simulated enemy.

During the operation, air support was carried out with high coordination, ensuring the minimization of risks in the training area and increasing the effectiveness of rescue activities. Pilots of the Azerbaijan Air Force (AF) performed the assigned tasks with professionalism and showed significant results in achieving the goals of the exercise.

It should be noted that our country is represented in the international search and rescue exercise by Air Force pilots, parachute-landing and search and rescue service specialists, air controllers, as well as technical personnel and aviation assets.
