A draft decision prepared for the purpose of taking 31 newly discovered examples located in the Yasamal district of Baku city under state protection has been agreed upon with the relevant authorities and submitted for approval.
elchi reports that this was announced at the next meeting of the Expert Council for the Identification of Immovable Cultural Assets under the Ministry of Culture.
At the meeting, the inclusion of 70 newly discovered examples across 4 cities and 15 districts under state protection, as well as amendments to the data of 10 monuments under state protection located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, were discussed.
It should be noted that in 2025, data for 8 monuments under state protection were amended, and in 2026, data for 87 monuments were amended; at the same time, 51 newly discovered examples were added to the list of immovable historical and cultural monuments last year.
