OPEC has announced the daily oil production figures in Azerbaijan for March

In March of this year, the average daily crude oil production in Azerbaijan was at the level of 457 thousand barrels.

According to information provided by elchi, citing the monthly report of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), the mentioned figure was at the level of 458 thousand barrels in February of the current year.

According to the data, the mentioned figure was 457 thousand barrels in the first quarter of the current year, which is 9 thousand barrels less compared to the figure for the first quarter of last year (466 thousand barrels).

It is reported that in 2025, the average daily crude oil production in Azerbaijan was 461 thousand barrels, which is 20 thousand barrels less compared to the 2024 figure.

Let us recall that Azerbaijan is a participant in the “OPEC+” agreement. “OPEC+” is an initiative involving the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-member countries to reduce oil production (with the aim of balancing the market – ed.).

It should be noted that according to the agreement reached by the ministers of “OPEC+” countries, Azerbaijan’s production quota until the end of 2026 is 551 thousand barrels per day. Thus, in March of the current year and in the first quarter of the year, Azerbaijan remained 94 thousand barrels below its quota within the framework of “OPEC+”.
