The Baku City State Traffic Police Department has appealed to road users regarding the weather conditions.
“Elchi” reports that the appeal states:
“The slipperiness of the road surface during rain and drizzle and the limitation of visibility require drivers to exercise greater attention and responsibility.
We kindly ask drivers to properly assess the weather conditions, choose a speed limit appropriate to the meteorological conditions, check that the vehicle’s windshield washers and wipers are working in the designated mode, and avoid sudden maneuvers and sharp braking on the roads without necessity.
Pedestrians, in turn, must adhere more strictly to safety rules and not endanger their own lives and the lives of others.”
