President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Iraq, Nizar Amidiy.

I believe that we will make joint efforts to further strengthen the interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Iraq and expand our cooperation in line with the interests of our friendly peoples.
On this joyous occasion, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Iraq.”
