President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Myung-bak.

On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my most sincere congratulations to you and your entire nation on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Korea.
The relations between Azerbaijan and Korea are based on friendship, mutual respect, and fruitful cooperation. We attach great importance to the continuous expansion of our relations with Korea.
I believe that through our joint efforts, we will further strengthen the traditional friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea in accordance with the interests of our peoples.
On this momentous day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your high state activities, and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly Republic of Korea.”
