Relevant bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) have held a series of events to raise public awareness about behavior rules in case of emergencies.

Awareness events were held by the Mugan Regional Center (RC) at the Vocational School of Neftchala city, by the Southern RC at Piran village secondary school of Lerik region and No. 1 secondary school named after R. Alihasanov in Masalli city, by the Karabakh RC at No. 4 secondary general education school named after Samad Vurgun in Agjabadi city, by the North-West RC at No. 1 school-lyceum named after A. Nadirov in Aghsu city, by the Aran RC with the population not working in the representative office of the Karabork village administrative territorial district of the Ujar District Executive Power and with the population not working in production and service sectors jointly with the Goranboy District Executive Power, by the Northern RC at Chol-gushchu village secondary school of Shabran region, by the Ganja RC at No. 38 secondary school named after N. Huseynov in Ganja city and No. 44 school-lyceum named after I. Nasimi in Ganja city, with the participation of specialists from the MES State Fire Control Service, Small Vessels Control State Service and Water Rescue State Service.
The purpose of holding the events was to provide citizens with relevant knowledge about the necessary behavior rules in case of natural and man-made emergencies.
Detailed information was provided on the classification of emergencies, emergencies characteristic of our country, including necessary behavior rules related to fire and earthquakes, the purpose of the MES “112” hotline was explained, and the rules for using initial fire extinguishing equipment were demonstrated.
During the interactive events, questions were answered in detail.
