The search for 3 people presumed to have drowned at sea in July of this year is ongoing.
elchi reports that this was stated by Akshin Alili, Head of the Public Relations and Propaganda Department of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service, at a briefing held regarding the end of the beach season.
It was reported that no drowning incidents have been recorded in the beach areas under the control of the MES during the current year.
As a result of the analysis, it was noted that due to the prompt intervention of rescuers, the total number of people saved in water basins during the current year has increased by 31 percent compared to the same period last year, rising from 73 to 107 people.
