The number of countries that Azerbaijani citizens can visit visa-free with an ordinary passport is increasing.
elchi reports that this was stated by Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations, at the committee’s meeting held today.
The committee chairman spoke about this during the discussion of the draft law on the approval of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports.”
“The power of the Azerbaijani passport is gradually increasing, and the number of countries our citizens can visit visa-free is growing. Azerbaijani citizens will be able to stay in Jordan visa-free and freely for 90 days within every 180-day period. This is a great achievement. Currently, the number of countries that can be visited visa-free with an ordinary passport has exceeded 20,” said S. Seyidov. (modern.az)
