Starting from September 14, new military exercises covering the territory of 12 municipalities have begun in Lithuania.
“Elchi” reports that the “LRT” TV channel has provided information about this.
From Monday to Friday of this week, military exercises will be held in the territory of 12 Lithuanian municipalities located in the southeastern part of the country – including near Vilnius – where response measures to various types of military threats will be practiced.
During the maneuvers, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, boats, and various weapon systems is planned, but firing with imitation ammunition will not be conducted.
Military personnel will train during both daylight and dark hours. The army leadership has warned that there may be movement of military equipment or civilian vehicles on the roads.
