“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Allahshukur Pashazade, at the 7th Meeting of Muslim Religious Leaders of the Organization of Turkic States.
“Great Leader Heydar Aliyev compared us to the branches of a single tree, expressing the connection of Turkic peoples to common roots. In the words of President Ilham Aliyev, ‘The Turkic world is our family.’ Thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy of our heads of state, special respect and care are shown to our common religious and moral values. The mutual visits of the leaders of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), as well as the fraternal relations formed between our states and peoples, are particularly commendable,” noted Allahshukur Pashazade.
He stated that the peoples of the OTS member states have repeatedly demonstrated fraternal support for each other during difficult and challenging times.
“During the 44-day Patriotic War, we witnessed the comprehensive and decisive support provided to Azerbaijan by Turkey. In the process of the Great Return to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and the implementation of large-scale restoration and construction works in Karabakh, the brotherly states that are members of the OTS have not spared their support for our country. This solidarity and fraternal relationship is a clear example of the unity and mutual support of the Turkic world,” emphasized Allahshukur Pashazade.
