Train intervals in Baku Metro are being reduced to 2 minutes

As a result of technical optimization measures, monitoring, and tests at “Baku Metropolitan” CJSC, intervals between trains are being reduced to a minimum.

“Elchi” reports this citing the organization.

According to the information, starting from September 15, trains on the Red line will operate at 2-minute intervals during peak hours on the “Icherisheher–Ahmedli” section.

On the Green line, when necessary, the interval will be reduced from 3 minutes 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

With the transition to the autumn-winter schedule on the Purple line, a 5-minute interval is applied on the “Avtovagzal–8 Noyabr” section, and a 10-minute interval on the “Khojasan–Avtovagzal” section.

In the new academic year, passenger flow on all lines will be monitored, and additional adjustments will be made if necessary.
