“Admission to the vacant planned spots of higher education institutions has concluded. Thus, the main stages of student admission for the 2026-2027 academic year have been completed.”
“Elchi” reports that this was noted in a post by SEC Chairperson Maleyka Abbaszade.
She stated that, according to the final results, 97.71% of the planned spots in higher education institutions have been filled, with only 1393 spots – approximately 2% – remaining vacant.
“Out of the 41 civilian higher education institutions where student admission was conducted, 13 have reached 100% capacity, 4 have reached 99%, and 4 have reached 98%. In total, the occupancy rate in 34 higher education institutions is higher than 95%,” the post noted.
