5 technical errors detected in 4 subjects during certification exams.

It was stated that the test stage of the certification process for teachers working in public general education institutions was held from June 7 to 25. More than 22,000 teachers participated in the exams held at 35 examination centers, with an attendance rate of 96 percent.
The certification process involved teachers of Azerbaijani language, Russian language, Azerbaijani language and literature, Russian language and literature, French, German, fine arts, music, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, geography, informatics, English, primary education, history, physical education, and technology.
After the acceptance of appeal applications for the test exam stage ended on July 26 at 12:00, all received applications were reviewed by relevant experts, and the test tasks were analyzed in detail. The experts determined that there were no inconsistencies between the test task design and the relevant framework documents or teaching materials. At the same time, they noted that there were technical problems in some questions.
Specifically, technical inconsistencies affecting the assessment were identified in 2 test tasks in the history subject for Azerbaijani and Russian sections in the exam held on June 24, 1 test task in the mathematics subject for Azerbaijani and Russian sections in the exam held on June 24, 1 test task in the technology subject for the Azerbaijani section in the exam held on June 25, and 1 test task in the physical education subject for the Russian section.
After taking the technical errors into account, the corresponding score adjustments for those test tasks were calculated in favor of the teachers who were presented with the questions.
The updated results have already been sent to the teachers’ personal cabinets on the portal.edu.az platform. Teachers can access the “Certification” section of the platform to view their appeal results.
