In January-June 2026, 905 thousand 992 tons of food products were transported by “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY).
According to the information provided by ADY, this figure is 236 thousand 396 tons or 35 percent more compared to the same period of the previous year.
It was reported that in the first 6 months of the current year, 388 thousand 764 tons of food industry products were transported in transit. This means an increase of 138 thousand 954 tons or 56 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
According to the information, in June 2026, ADY transported 198 thousand tons of food industry products. This figure is 54 thousand 726 tons or 38 percent more compared to June of last year.
Also, the volume of transit shipments in June amounted to 87 thousand 261 tons. This is 43 thousand 528 tons or 2 times more compared to the same month of the previous year.
