According to the news from elchi, the Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision regarding this.
According to the decision, considering the restoration of state sovereignty throughout the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan on September 20, 2023, and based on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the new station of the Baku Metro located at 194 Jalil Mammadguluzade Street, Nasimi district, has been named “20 September”.
The Baku City Executive Power and the “Baku Metro” Closed Joint-Stock Company must resolve the issues arising from this Decision.
